Tomorrow I leave for a beautiful camp set on Maryland's very edge. As I sit here in my room, amid piles of clothes yet to be packed, feelings of trepidation have taken hold. I go to a place I have never been, to a people I have never met, but this is not what I fear. It is a simple question that has me most unnerved.
"When you look at me, what do you see?" What does it take to only reflect the light of my Savior? Through the course of these next nine weeks sixty-four little faces will cross my path, what will they remember from our meeting?
One thing is certain, of one thing I am sure, the Lamb is worthy to be praised! How could I not lay my all before the One who redeemed my soul from the gates of hell. "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine!" He is the Almighty, the King of kings, the Rose of Sharon, the Lily of the valley, the Prince of Peace, yet my Father and my friend. Is He not altogether lovely?
My dear Ann! I know you will be such an example at the camp to both campers and staff alike! Your love for our Saviour shines so brightly, how could it not effect everyone else! I love you, friend, and will be praying for you! I look forward to hearing how the Lord uses you and works in you this summer!
